This page contains guidelines for and documentation of the templates used in conjunction with temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
- Pictures of the temples - 88 of the 134 Temples (66%) have pictures

[edit] Summary
Each temple has a data page that stores the data to be used in the templates, of the form: Template:LDS Temple/Temple name. All the templates that format temple data use a single set of data for each temple. Thus updating the data for each temple will only need to be done in one location.
Using the data in multiple locations is accomplished by transcluding the datapage along with a format parameter, which indicates which template to use. Thus the calls to transclude temple data will be a call of the form {{LDS Temple/Temple name | format= format template }}.

- This creation of the data page has been implemented for all operating temples.
- Remaining Tasks
- Create {{LDS Temple geographic}} to coordinate with data pages
- Create solution to handle temples are announced or have had construction suspended
- Figure out a way to include temples operated by others
- Review data and compare to 2007 Almanac
- New Implementation
- Under Construction Temples now can use the data template - with Groundbreaking information going where the Dedication information is on the {{LDS Temple list}} template, and the Infobox template handles the data correctly.
- Need to verify that the {{LDS Temple compare}} will work with the typical data set for an under construction temple

- ^ Are wikilinks allowed on the data page. Abbreviations:
no - wikilinks must not be used - use will interfere with formatting
