Wes Fogden (born April 12, 1988 in Brighton, England) is a professional footballer who currently plays for Brighton & Hove Albion as a central midfielder.

Fogden has progressed through the youth ranks at the club and was awarded a contract in the summer of 2006. Shortly after returning to pre-season training he was diagnosed with a spine tumour, which was thankfully benign.

During October 2007, Fogden joined Conference South team Dorchester on loan for 3 months. During his time at the club, Wes played in 14 League games and scored 2 goals. Dorchester were keen to extend his loan deal at the club until the end of the season, but after suffering two successive League defeats Brighton manager Dean Wilkins decided to recall Wes from his loan spell at the Conference South club.

Wes made his Brighton debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat away to Swansea. Wes played this match in the unfamiliar position of right-back after injuries ripped apart the Albion squad.

During March 2008, it was revealed that Wes had agreed to join Conference South side Bognor Regis Town on loan for the remainder of the 2007/08 season.

On the 6th May 2008, it was revealed that Fogden had signed a new one-year contract with the club.[1]
