Scott Chamberlain (born January 15, 1988 in Eastbourne) is a professional footballer who currently plays for League One side Brighton & Hove Albion.
Chamberlain has progressed through the youth ranks at the club and was awarded a contract in the summer of 2006.
Chamberlain made his first-team debut for the Albion in the semi-final tie of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy against Bristol City, a match which ended in a 2-0 defeat for the Seagulls.
Shortly after, Chamberlain joined Conference South side Bognor on loan for two months. He then returned to Brighton during April 2007 and was seen taking part in the teams effort on the crossbar challenge on popular TV show Soccer AM.
On the 18 September 2007, Scott once again joined Conference South side Bognor on loan, this time for three months, following on from a one-month loan spell for the start of the 2007/08 season with Conference South rivals Eastbourne Borough. It was revealed on the 1 January 2008 that Scott extended his loan deal at Bognor until the end of the 2007-08 season.
Chamberlain returned to Brighton during May 2008, and scored the winning goal in the Sussex Senior Cup final against Crawley.[1]
On the 6 May 2008, it was revealed that Chamberlain had been given a new six-month contract with the club.[2]
