Joel Lynch (born October 3, 1987) is a professional football player currently playing for Brighton & Hove Albion where he came through the club's own youth set up. He was part of a history breaking youth set up for the club which saw them reach the quarterfinals of the FA Youth Cup Final. His reward, along with fellow teammate Joe Gatting, was a place in the squad for the first team which saw him make his debut against Southampton on January 3, 2006. [1]
Joel has attracted the interest of several Premiership and Championship clubs, with Portsmouth keeping a close scrutiny on the player.
