WEPX is one of two ION Television and MyNetworkTV affiliates for the Greenville/New Bern/Washington, North Carolina television market. The station is owned by ION Media Networks, and is a sister station to WPXU-TV. WEPX operates on UHF channel 38, and has operated since sometime in the late 1990s. The station also broadcasts programming from Shop at Home during the overnight hours.

This station is not available thru satellite services Directv or Dish Network.
[edit] Digital television
Because it was granted an original construction permit after the FCC finalized the DTV allotment plan on April 21, 1997 [1], the station did not receive a companion channel for a digital television station. Instead, on or before February 17, 2009, which is the end of the digital TV conversion period for full-service stations, WEPX will be required to turn off its analog signal and turn on its digital signal (called a "flash-cut").
