Vaglia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Florence in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 15 km north of Florence. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,021 and an area of 57.0 km².[1]
The municipality of Vaglia contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bivigliano, Paterno, Fontebuona, Caselline, Pratolino, Montorsoli, and Mulinaccio.
Vaglia borders the following municipalities: Borgo San Lorenzo, Calenzano, Fiesole, San Piero a Sieve, Sesto Fiorentino.
