Figline Valdarno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Florence in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 25 km southeast of Florence. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 16,769 and an area of 71.7 km².[1] The municipality is the birthplace of Marsilio Ficino.
Figline Valdarno borders the following municipalities: Castelfranco di Sopra, Cavriglia, Greve in Chianti, Incisa in Val d'Arno, Pian di Scò, Reggello, San Giovanni Valdarno.
