"Spotlight" is the first and only single by American singer-songwriter Madonna from her 1987 remix compilation You Can Dance and was only released in Japan on April 25, 1988 by Sire Records. The song was featured in the last in a series of Japanese TV commercials she filmed for electronics company Mitsubishi (The VCR model in question for this commercial was the "F-5.3") from 1985 to 1988 (most of which had been used as cross-promotion for the Japanese leg of her Who's That Girl Tour) under the campaign name of "Dreams Come True".
