Live - The Virgin Tour is the first live music video title by singer Madonna. Released by Warner Music Video in 1985, it contained a live date from The Virgin Tour, filmed at Cobo Arena in Detroit, Michigan on May 25, 1985. It featured tracks from her first two albums and the Vision Quest Soundtrack.
An introduction directed by James Foley, is shown at the beginning of the video with Madonna's new image of platinum blonde hair, as seen in her next film Shanghai Surprise which she had just finished filming. Foley had also just directed her next music video "Live to Tell" from his film At Close Range.
The live versions of "Dress You Up" and "Like a Virgin" were released as music videos to promote the VHS.
