The group has experienced several line-up changes, but its membership has not changed since 1999: Sid Wilson, Joey Jordison, Paul Gray, Chris Fehn, Jim Root, Craig Jones, Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomson and Corey Taylor. Slipknot's origins date back to 1992, and the band officially formed in November 1995. Slipknot underwent line-up changes before releasing their debut album Slipknot in 1999. They have released two other albums, Iowa and Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses), and is expected to release a fourth album in 2008. Slipknot Discography is a complete list including every Slipknot release to date. It includes all albums, DVDs, music videos and appearances in the media by the band.  Mick Thomson (#7), Slipknot's lead and rhythm guitarist, wearing his mask, in 2005. "Corey Taylor" (#8) is Slipknot's lead vocalist. He joined the band in 1997. He is often praised for his wide range in vocal ability. Many of the lyrics he writes are inspired by his childhood, which he lived in poverty and did not know his father.
