Big Orange Clown Records is a record label based in Des Moines, Iowa, owned by Shawn Crahan, founding member and percussionist of Slipknot.
The label was founded in 2005 and to date has only released one album under its imprint; The Imbuing by Gizmachi. Crahan has said that he is always thinking about the future and he loves music, so starting a record label and producing albums was a natural step for him.[1] The label has focused mainly on unsigned bands, even advertising on the internet that they wanted unsigned bands to get in contact with them by post.[2]
