The ginseng article links to this page as "the poor man's ginseng"; is there any credence to this and should it be included in the article? --137.122.202.30 (talk) 21:28, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Synonymous to Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge?

I've struck upon a mentioning of a compound called Salvianolic acid. At this moment (as I'm writing) there is no Wikipedia article about this acid. On one webpage there is information that this acid is isolated from Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge. If this is the same plant, maybe the Salvianolic acid should be mentioned in this article (the compound seems to act as antioxidant). Best regards, CopperKettle 08:43, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
