Roger Guerreiro - nickname Roger - (born on May 25, 1982 in São Paulo) is a Polish-Brazilian footballer (left winger) playing currently for the Poland national football team and club Legia Warsaw. Roger joined this club from Esporte Clube Juventude in 2006. Roger has declared he wishes to play for the Polish national team. He was granted the Polish citizenship on 17 April 2008. [1] Roger received the citizenship in a speedy procedure, and was guaranteed a place in the squad by the coach Leo Beenhakker. He made his debut in a Poland shirt in the game versus Albania on May 27, 2008.
