Łukasz Piszczek (pron. IPA: [ˈwukaʂ ˈpiʂtʂɛk]; born June 3, 1985 in Czechowice-Dziedzice) is a young Polish footballer currently playing for Hertha Berlin, usually on the right wing or as a striker.
On February 3, 2007 he made his first appearance for the Poland national football team in the game versus Estonia.
His first goal in the Bundesliga came on April 26, 2008, securing a point against Hannover 96.
On June 6, 2008 he was named for the Polish squad for Euro Cup 2008, to replace injured Jakub Błaszczykowski.
