[edit] About Me

I am a student in the United States.

I have been using Wikipedia for a long time, and I previously had an account for a short time, if I remember correctly. I noticed that I was doing many grammar and spelling edits, so I am basically getting involved in editing again for this reason. I will probably also be involved in Recent Changes review, if I stay around long enough.

[edit] I'm Not A Bot!

It may appear that I am running a bot because of the large volume of edits I am making in such a short time. This is not true, and I think that browsing my contributions should show this. When I am editing very quickly, I am generally using the search to find a common spelling error, using Firefox's incremental find and spellcheck highlighting to find the error on the page, and using copy and paste to add the edit summary. This is currently the fastest method I have found to work through the spelling edits.

[edit] Things I have worked on

These are some of the larger articles that I have worked on. Any help with these articles or review of my changes would be appreciated.

Timeline of Serbian history - I have tried to improve the grammar and spelling of this article, and to address some minor points of fact.

[edit] Recognized Errors

I was attempting to fix the many misspellings of the words "bourgeois" and "bourgeoisie," and I started changing "bourgeoise" into "bourgeois." The dictionary I happened to look at, Merriam-Webster, offers the definition "a woman of the middle class," so I thought the use was incorrect. However, I just discovered that the OED lists it as a valid spelling of "bourgeois." I apologize for the unneeded "corrections."
