Rabbit Run is a song written and performed by Eminem which appears on the 8 Mile Original Soundtrack. Eminem wrote this during the breaks on the set of 8 Mile. In the song he takes the perspective of the character Jimmy Smith which is played by him in the movie. It is a 3 minute song with no refrain. It discusses how the character finds it difficult sometimes to "find the words to rhyme" and describes not only drinking and family issues, but also his strive for fame and accomplishment. The beat is stressful and intense and has a very surprising finale.
- It was also featured on the single CD for Like Toy Soldiers
- The song was released in a clean version which removes lines like "Ya think all I do is stand here and feel my nuts!".
