Pănet or Mezőpanit (Romanian: Pănet; Hungarian: Mezőpanit) is a commune in Mureş County, Romania comprising of 5 villages:
- Berghia/Mezőbergenye
- Cuieşd/Székelykövesd
- Hărţău/Harcó
- Pănet/Mezőpanit
- Sântioana de Mureş/Csittszentiván

The commune has an absoulte Székely Hungarian majority. According to the 2002 Census it has a population of 5,994 of which 81.13% or 4,863 are Hungarian.
