Ozherelye

Ozherelye (Russian: Ожере́лье, IPA[ʌʑi'rʲelʲje]) is a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located some 125 km south of Moscow and 10 km southeast of Kashira. It is an important railway junction. Population: 10,900 (2005 est.); 11,113 (2002 Census).

Ozherelye was first mentioned in 1578 as a village and was granted town status in 1958.
