Moskovsky, Moscow Oblast

Moskovsky (Russian: Московский) is a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia, situated 25 km southwest of Moscow and 5 km east of Vnukovo International Airport. Population: 15,400 (2005 est.)

It was founded in 1968 as a rural settlement around the agricultural company Mosagro (Agrokombinat Moskovsky). Town status was granted in 2004. A share taxi service connects the town to Yugo-Zapadnaya station of the Moscow Metro.
