[edit] Cellador
How would Cellador be for your request to bring an article on a little-known rock band to good status? They're a pretty awesome power metal band, one of my favorites. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Rurouniyuudai85 (talk • contribs) 22:01, 15 March 2007 (UTC).

[edit] WP:ATSIA
Hi User:Osbus. Seeing that you have recently (this year, anyway) commented on this talkpage, WP:ATSIA, You may be interested to see this recent post, where I quoted, I hope properly, a sensible suggestion that was made then by you about Deco's guideline. from 27May, 2006. This is the link to that recent comment. [1] As the page is substantially the same currently as, I think, that draft you seemed happy enough with then, I felt it correct to quote (your sensible suggestion). This idea had also occurred to myself, so it is again a current suggestion on the talkpage. Please let me know if this reference to such an old post of yours is out of context, or faulty on my part, I would be sorry if that were the case. The archives to that talkpage are unfortunately very long, yet old ideas seem to come back. Currently the page looks good as a guideline, of course I would say that, I have added ten words or so. Cheers, my regards once again for your helpful say, back then, and best wishes with your current projects, user:Newbyguesses - Talk 04:18, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:DaltonLogo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:DaltonLogo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 20:45, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] You're invited!
| New York City Meetup
|
In the afternoon, we will hold a session dedicated to meta:Wikimedia New York City activities, and have salon-style group discussions on Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects (see the last meeting's minutes).
Well also make preparations for our exciting Wikipedia Takes Manhattan event, a free content photography contest for Columbia University students planned for Friday March 28 (about 2 weeks after our meeting).
In the evening, we'll share dinner and chat at a local restaurant, and (weather permitting) hold a late-night astronomy event at Columbia's telescopes.
You can add or remove your name from the New York City Meetups invite list at Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Invite list.
You're also invited to subscribe to the public Wikimedia New York City mailing list, which is a great way to receive timely updates.--Pharos (talk) 00:04, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
You mentioned an interest in a New York meeting here, a page I discovered through Google; I do try to keep that invite list thorough! I hope you can make it Sunday.--Pharos (talk) 00:29, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
