The team is owned by the Buena Vista Corporation, and will play at the Amway Arena, [1] sharing the facility with the AFL's Predators and the NBA's Magic. The Sharks lost their first game to the New Jersey Ironmen, 7-4, on October 27, 2007. After starting the season with 16 consecutive losses, on January 18, 2008, almost 3 months after their inaugural game, the Sharks won their first game in franchise history by defeating the California Cougars, 16-13.
