[edit] Any evidence of anyone upset by this episode?

A Google news search turns up nothing for "north by north quahog" "asian american."

That Christians would be upset by Passion of the Christ 2: Crucify This sounds plausible, but again, I can find no evidence for this. Cromulent Kwyjibo 22:53, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

I have to agree. I've deleted the "Controversy" section. It had no citations and was very badly written. Henrymrx 04:05, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
The controversy section (apparently not deleted) says that "the FCC demmed [sic] this episode to the "worst show of the week"." Do they mean the conservative Family Guy-hating PTC? If so, shouldn't this be cited?

Furthermore, the PTC nomenclature is wrong — it should be "Worst TV Show of the Week" or just "Worst of the Week" (Family Guy proudly claims the title again here for the 'Anal Point' gag: http://www.parentstv.org/PTC/publications/bw/2008/0125worst.asp). [edit] WWID

Stands for "What Would I Do", indeed a play on "What Would Jesus Do"

[edit] Who Knows This Stuff?

Honestly, WHO knows that a certain character was introduced in a certain book of Garfield comics? o__o;; Wow. 70.16.94.96 03:51, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

I don't, but I am very grateful and appreciative that Wikipedia knows and I can look it up when I want to know stuff like this. Cromulent Kwyjibo 21:44, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of cancelled shows

Should there be a list of the shows that Peter listed in the opening, that were aired then cancelled while Family Guy was off the air? I thought their used to be a list. Itsmeiam 00:34, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

I could have sworn I remember a list somewhere to. There should be a list here, not in quoutations here.
I just found it here. --ProdigySportsman 22:19, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Here is the list

  • Peter lists the shows Family Guy was canceled to make room for. All of these FOX shows were cancelled after short runs, usually not even airing their first season. Some of these shows (most notably Firefly, Wonderfalls, and The Tick) have found cult status through DVDs.

  • When Peter gets to Greg the Bunny on the list he shoots a quick glance at Chris. This is in reference to Seth Green who was the star of Greg the Bunny, and the voice of Chris on Family Guy. Though he makes no nonverbal remarks, he also mentions The Tick, which starred Patrick Warburton (a.k.a. Joe Swanson) as the title superhero.

--ProdigySportsman 22:22, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

  • I don't know who provided this list, but the series Eyes doesn't belong. It was not on Fox, but ABC. Roger 15:51, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Ok i just added it~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.191.96.241 (talk) 19:12, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Why UVM?

[edit] 95

The opening scene that was a spoof on all the canceled shows on FOX was made the 95th most shocking scene in television history in the TV Land and TV Guide 100 Most Unexpected TV Moments. Thought it should be mentioned. 67.140.14.140 (talk) 21:33, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Future reception

This is just a little directory I'm building up to use in the article. Obviously, it'll be converted in to prose when I create the reception section.

[1], [2], [3], [4]

  • You could always pre-convert them to properly formatted cites, using WP:CIT, and add it right into the article as a Further reading section, and then move stuff to cites as it gets used/referenced/sourced. Cirt (talk) 20:31, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
I might. I was just generally plonking links here for later usage (of course, they'll be formatted correctly later.) I'm quite messy in that way. :) Qst (talk) 13:21, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Recently added link

Is that link for real? Does the thing exist? Believe me, I'm not removing the redlink, I have been busted for removing redlinks in the past, when I thought redlinks harm articles, now I know they encourage more. So is that thing recently linked for real? TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 12:20, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
