Skin (TV series)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Skin is a television series which aired on Fox in 2003. It followed the tale of two teenagers who come from feuding families. One, Adam (played by D.J. Cotrona), is the son of Los Angeles District Attorney Tom Roam (played by Kevin Anderson), and the other is Jewel (played by Olivia Wilde), whose father, Larry Goldman (played by Ron Silver), runs a pornography company. The show was a modern-day take on the Romeo and Juliet story. Even after an incredible amount of advertising (Silver's line "His father is the district attorney!", featured in the promos, briefly became a catch-phrase), it was cancelled after only three episodes (of a total of nine episodes produced) due to poor ratings and less than favorable reviews.
