The Pitts was a short-lived American situation comedy on Fox. It is about a family and their bad luck. It was a satire on typical American sitcoms with over-the-top sight gags.

Faith gets a Volkswagen bug but it falls in love with her and plans to marry her in Las Vegas.

03. Squarewolves (shown April 13, 2003)
Bob and Liz become werewolves and wreak havoc in the nighttime.

04. Dummy & Dummier (shown April 20, 2003)
A dummy comes to life and haunts the family.

05. Miss American Pipe (shown April 20, 2003)
Faith loses her chances of being in a rock video after a pipe goes through her head.

[edit] Cancellation and revival

Fox canceled the show after five episodes aired.

However, on October 10, 2007, Fox announced an animated version of the show is in development.[1]

Of the main cast, Lizzy Caplan and Dylan Baker have been signed on to reprise their roles. As actress Kellie Waymire passed away in 2003, Allison Janney has been cast in her role. The part of Petey will be assumed by Andy Milonakis.[2]
