Louis Armstrong mentioned more than once about how enjoyed the Original Dixieland Jass Band records as a young man, noting they were the first availible records of the music played in New Orleans, I think it's stetching the point to call LaRocca an important influence on Armstrong's playing; by his own testimony and that of other New Orleans old timers he seems to have been more influenced by Joe "King" Oliver and Bunk Johnson. -- Infrogmation 15:09, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
