Black Pearl is a neighborhood of the city of New Orleans. A subdistrict of the Uptown/Carrolton Area, its boundaries as defined by the City Planning Commission are: South Carrollton Avenue and St. Charles Avenue to the north, Lowerline, Perrier and Broadway Streets to the east, and the Mississippi River to the west.

Black Pearl is located at [1] and has an elevation of 2 feet (0.61 m)[2]. According to the United States Census Bureau, the district has a total area of 0.49 square miles (1.3 km²). 0.26 square miles (0.7 km²) of which is land and 0.23 square miles (0.6 km²) (46.94%) of which is water.

The City Planning Commission defines the boundaries of Black Pearl as these streets: South Carrollton Avenue, St. Charles Avenue, Lowerline Street, Perrier Street, Broadway Street and the Mississippi River.[3]
