[edit] Getting Unblocked
Hi, I was trying to add links here and there that brought insight into various themes from a PBS newsmagazine, and a subordinate did too many too quickly using my log-in. As a rtesult, I was locked out. She is no longer using my account -- nor is anyone -- so I'm wondering how and when I could get posting privileges back, thanks. I'm not even sure i psoted this question the right way, but it's a little unclear. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joelscorp (talk • contribs) 21:12, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Deletion of Buzztard Page
Hi, I wonder why you deleted the page for 'Buzztard'? I saw that the reason given is "notability" and I read about what that means in the wikipedia context. I was updating that page in the past and I would like to do so in the future. The Buzztard project is quite active. There are now several linux distribution having packages for it. I see some importance in the project as the original project Jeskola_Buzz is dead (the source code is lost). Rewrites like Buzztard allow to play and work on music that has been compose with Buzz.
It would be nice to have it back to recover the links (e.g. from Jeskola_Buzz) and also to complement the application listing for GStreamer. Buzztard is the only audio sequencer using it and by that pushing GStreamer as a framework on that level. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ensonic (talk • contribs) 11:45, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
It would be great to receive the orignal article (ensonic_at_hora_dot_obscura_dot_de), I'll overhaul the article taking your sugestions into account. thanks! Ensonic (talk) 06:57, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your replies once again. If you could restore the article as it is, I'll update and extend it based on that. Ensonic (talk) 18:08, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for reverting this page. When I was browsing through, I was commenting to my admin friend on how wikipedia really shouldn't be opinionated.

[edit] Semi-protect
Uh, have you thought of permanent semi-protection for your user? It seems to be one of the most vandalised pages on the project... Good job! That could only mean diligent work in vandal-whacking. :) +Hexagon1 (t) 08:08, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- I made this request at RFPP for temporary semi-protection, cuz my fingers were getting tired... :-) Shenme (talk) 08:31, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Protection
Hey Natalie, I just wanted to let you know that I semi-protected your user page for 5 days at the request of other editors at WP:RFPP due to the recent amount of bad edits on your user page. If you would rather it not be protected, feel free to let me know or you can put in a request at WP:RFUP (which will probably be faster). Cheers! « Gonzo fan2007 (talk ♦ contribs) 08:49, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Lost Boys
Hi, Natalie. Thanks for your contributions to the Lost boys (polygamy) page. I started it way before the FLDS compound/ranch got raided. I get a lot of info because I've always got my ears open, but I am not the most wiki-capable. Hope you can continue to contribute. Greenw47 (talk) 13:38, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Unintended Consequences/related reading
Hi Natalie. To answer your question re the link to the Battle Of Jakes, it is notable because it is the same kind of story, same subject matter.Government pushes too hard, gun owners push back.See the talk page for Unintended Consequences .Gee, I might give up on this one some time.We been doing this for years.Did you use your administrator powers to blacklist the hyperlink to the story?Have you read the stories you are editing the articles about?Saltforkgunman (talk) 05:28, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Mediafly deleted article
Hi, I am relatively new to wikipedia. I noticed you deleted the article for "Mediafly" based on non-significance. I wanted to support the significance. If this is the incorrect forum for this, please direct me otherwise.
1) Mediafly is one of the fastest growing podcast aggregators. In an area where most "podcast" companies are stagnating, Mediafly is growing. http://siteanalytics.compete.com/mediafly.com+podcast.com+podcastpickle.com/?metric=uv
2) Mediafly is in use by sites such as:
- BestBuy.com (BestBuy.com/Summer)
- NBC5 Chicago (NBC5.com/Podcast)
- PodcastPickle.com (all feed pages use Mediafly)
- More launching every month.
3) Mediafly is being integrated directly with media devices.
- The first to launch was Chumby (www.chumby.com)
- More launching in the next couple months
4) Mediafly's SyncClient software is one of the few podcast downloaders which integrates with iTunes as well as any MTP-enabled device. Juice podcast software is the only one that comes close and it has not been updated in many many months. (note: SyncClient for mobile devices and mac coming soon).
I'm happy to discuss in more detail. You can reach me at wikipedia@carson.silverfeed.com
