| I'm a 36 year old project engineer working at CERN on the French / Swiss border but originate from Norfolk in the UK.
I became an administrator on the English Wikipedia in May 2007. I specialise in the user warnings system of templates and was instrumental in their design and implementation in January 2007. I still help out where I can, if you have any questions on these templates visit WT:UTM for usage questions or WT:UW for proposals or changes.
I also help out at Administrator intervention against vandalism. If you have been blocked by myself it is usually because you have been reported to AIV having received a final warning. However if I deem bad faith edits i.e. abuse, personal attacks severe enough I will block without any warnings, as editors should know how to behave and if they don't I am not here to educate them. If you feel the block is unwarranted write {{unblock|Your reason why you should be unblocked}} on your talk page then an admin will investigate shortly.
As with all editors I make mistakes. If you think I have screwed up, state your case politely on my talk page and I will always do my utmost to help. However vandalising this page or my talk pages, is probably up there with being one of the most futile things you can do on Wikipedia. So if you've received warnings off me, don't bother, at the push of a button it's back the way it was, and you get another warning or a block.
