Mossley railway station serves the town of Mossley, Greater Manchester, England. It lies on the Huddersfield Line 16 km (10 miles) north-east of Manchester Victoria and is managed by Northern Rail.

It is a small, two platform station, with the only on-site services being a ticket office that is staffed during peak times. Disabled access to the station is limited, with wheelchair provision only being made for the Huddersfield to Manchester platform. As the Manchester to Huddersfield platform is accessible through a single staircase, disabled passengers often find it easier to travel on to Huddersfield and then disembark at Mossley on the opposite platform when the train makes its return journey.

[edit] Services

From Monday to Saturday, Mossley is served by an hourly Northern Rail service from Manchester Victoria station to Huddersfield station, with some additional services during peak hours. There is a Sunday service every two hours in each direction.

The more frequent TransPennine Express service, from Manchester Piccadilly station and points west to Huddersfield station and points east, passes through Mossley without stopping.
