Davenport railway station serves the Davenport suburb of Stockport.
The station is 11 km (7 mi) south east of Manchester Piccadilly on the Buxton Line.

Monday to Saturday there is generally an half-hourly service from Davenport to Manchester Piccadilly and beyond (Blackpool North) northbound and Hazel Grove (hourly to Buxton) southbound on the Buxton Line.
The Hope Valley Line express trains towards/from Sheffield pass through the station but do not stop there.
