[edit] Infrastructure

Is there infrastructure in Monster Hunter Portable(The Japanese version)? Because if there is, please leave it as a feature taken out of MHF; there is no infrastructure mode, only Ad Hoc, and that's how you play online, along with using X Link Kai. SuperDT 05:32, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Weapon/Armor Trees

Please add a weapon/armor tree

-Fallout10mm

That would help a lot.

No it would not. This isn't a guide to Monster Hunter Freedom, nor GameFAQs.com. This is an encyclopedia article, and should look like one.SuperDT 00:43, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RPG or what now?

I dont think that it's all too obvious whether or not this is a traditional rpg style game (level ups/skils/abilitys/etc) or not (from what I've read its all about equipment) so maybe someone who knows the game could elaborate on it in a way that makes it easier to understand for people like myself who dont have/havent seen it124.149.61.201 11:09, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

it's a hack-n-slash game kinda like dynasty warriors but you kill one monster instead of hundreds of people.Dark reaper6789 16:49, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

The game is nothing like dynasty warriors at all. It heavily relies on the players skill in order to catch your prey, For all of the challenging quests , you actually have to think. Enemies have weak points and strong points , which unlike RPG's or dynasty warriors , means that a head shot ( or other weak point attack ) can actually be fatal, or will at least cause the opponent flinch. ( since a Wyverns hide is pretty much armor )Characters cannot fly around , and Mob tons of enemies in this game either, For the most part the character can only do what a real person can do. ( excluding carrying around all those items , and wielding some of those huge weapons.)Visgarde (talk) 19:27, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:MonsterHunterFreedom-NorthAmericanVersion-FrontCover.jpg

Image:MonsterHunterFreedom-NorthAmericanVersion-FrontCover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
