Mauro Damián Rosales (born February 24, 1981 in Villa María) is an Argentine football player who currently plays for Argentine power-house River Plate. Rosales was part of the Argentina Under-20 team that won the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship and the gold-medal winning Argentine national team at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
Rosales was transferred from Ajax for 1.8 Million Euros making it River's 6th incorporation (after Ojeda, Ruben, Villagra, Ponzio and Rivas) with an overall value of 13 Million dollars in transfers.[citation needed]
