This list should be inverted in order to keep with the format for the Locks on the River Thames article. Also, additional entries need inserting to maintain the locks' numbers. Ian Cairns 15:15, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I've changed the order to go from Bristol to Reading & added some more info, I'm slowly doing entries for some of the locks. I've used the numbers as given in Pearsons' guide (& also shown on lock gates) but some have been removed over the years so there appear to be gaps. — Rod talk 09:04, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
