This is a list of glaciers.

Due to somewhat sparse information, some glaciers, especially those in the tropics, may no longer exist as listed. This is especially true for glaciers in Africa and New Guinea.

An inventory of glaciers in New Zealand's South Island during the 1980s found there were about 3,155 glaciers with an area of at least one hectare (2.5 acres).[6] Approximately one sixth of these glaciers covered more than 10 hectares. These include:
