Kje (Ќ, ќ) is a letter of the Cyrillic alphabet, used in the Macedonian language. It represents /c/ or /ʨ/. It can be transliterated using ć (eg. Вреќа - Vreća - sack), or sometimes simply kj (vrekja). Words with this sound are most often cognates to those in Serbian with ћ/ć and in Croatian, Bosnian & Montenegrin with ć. For example, Macedonian Шеќер (Šećer/Šekjer, sugar) corresponds to Serbian Шећер/Šećer and Croatian, Bosnian & Montenegrin Šećer.
