King of the Cage (or KOTC) is a mixed martial arts (MMA) organization based in the United States that was created in 1998 by Tedd Williams and Terry Trebilcock. Viewed as a minor circuit, King of the Cage features up and coming MMA stars and veterans. KOTC is known to host events almost exclusively at Indian gaming casinos. Over the past couple of years Tedd and Terry have branched out the KOTC name to other promoters to use their for events. As a result, KOTC shows are now being held in the midwest, Canada, and Australia. KOTC is the parent promotion of Gladiator Challenge. Some notable KOTC competitors include UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Diego Sanchez, Paul Buentello, Joe Stevenson, Keith Jardine, The Ultimate Fighter 2 Heavyweight Winner Rashad Evans, and The Ultimate Fighter 6 winner Mac Danzig.
