He appeared and starred on the hit Bravo Emmy nominated showProject Runway at age 37 and was the contestant with the most experience in Season 1.^{[citation needed]} Johnn won the Rockstar/Collaboration challenge for Sarah Hudson.

Kevin Johnn resides in New York, New York, and is currently designing his own line of high-end, sophisticated fashion, Creative Director of the Kevin Johnn Collection, as well as KJeans&Knits, premium denim and a contemporary knitwear line based in New York City.
