Project Runway (season 5)

Project Runway Season Five began filming the first week of June 2008 and will premiere July 16 at 9 PM. [1] This season of Project Runway will be the final season to air on Bravo, due to its future movement to Lifetime.[2]

NBC, the owner of Bravo, is filing a lawsuit against the Weinstein Company, producers of Project Runway, alleging breach of contract. [3]

Tim Gunn returned as a panelist to decide which possible contestants can go on in hopes to win Grand Prize.

Season four contestant Jack Mackenroth auditioned at the April 5 New York Auditions. [4] He later decided not to participate in the season, however. [5]
