The Iran national rugby union team (Persian: تیم ملی راگبی ایران) is a sporting side that represents Iran in rugby union.
Iran is yet to become a member of the International Rugby Board (IRB) although as of 2007 are part of the Asian Rugby Football Union and currently play in the regional Central Asia group in the 2008 HSBC Asian Five Nations alongside Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

On August 18, 2007 Iran played its first international friendly as part of the Pakistan Tour and won 22 - 11 in Lahore, Pakistan.[1]
It has been announced that Iran will be actively participating in the rugby sevens tournament at the 2010 Asian Games.[2]
