Inami (牛宿) is a Genbu celestial warrior from Yuu Watase's Fushigi Yūgi Genbu Kaiden. She was found in the country of Konan (Hong-Nan) working as a brothel madam.

Brought up in the imperial harem for the Rowun clan, Inami knows her fair share about what's happening in her native country of Hokkan. 11 years ago before the main story line, her existence as a Genbu Seishi surfaced and she fled in fear for her life and the life of her unborn child. Though she escaped her attackers, she was wounded and left to freeze to death with her stomach bleeding in the streets of Touran.
She was rescued by a brothel madam named Shunu and her attending, but sadly Inami's child didn't survive and she miscarried. Though thrown into a depression, Shunu permanently took her in with the optimistic look out that someday they'd all be able to live happily in the sunlight instead of the darkness of the night. So Shunu moved her brothel down to Konan to protect Inami's life and that's where they remained until Takiko showed up.
During her life in the harem however, she was present when Urumiya was first brought in front of the emperor. She knew him as Teg and that he was only half a warrior, she quickly hastened to relay this information to the others once Hagus' character had been unwillingly revealed.

Inami, like most of the Celestial Warriors, first comes across as cold and stubborn; unwillingly to accept their destiny. A proud woman despite her profession, Inami's loyalties lied solely with Shunu until Takiko demonstrated an attitude Inami had when she was the priestess' age. Instead of dying with Shunu amidst the powers of an Enma addressed as The Grudge, she renews her vow to live and work towards stepping into the daylight.
She's most likely the eldest of the celestial warriors as she's the only one with noticeable wrinkles setting in, she portrays the role of a sort of aunt to Takiko the other Seishi. She and Hikitsu seem to have developed a friendship as they are two more knowledgeable warriors and she also seems to enjoy looking after Hatsui like any female guardian, perhaps in her desire to appease her maternal instincts.
