Hutton is a village and civil parish located on the western edge of the Mendip Hills, close to Weston-super-Mare in North Somerset, England.

Hutton was listed in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Hotune, meaning 'The enclosure on the projection of land' from the Old English hoh and tun.[1]

The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin dates from the 15th century and is a grade II* listed building.[2]

It is twinned with the Kenyan village of Dabaso
