Gerano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rome in the Italian region Latium, located about 40 km east of Rome. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,197 and an area of 10.1 km².[1]
Gerano borders the following municipalities: Bellegra, Canterano, Cerreto Laziale, Pisoniano, Rocca Canterano, Rocca Santo Stefano.
