Gabriel Andrei Torje (born November 22, 1989 in Timişoara) is a Romanian football player, currently under contract at FC Dinamo Bucureşti. Touted as one of the most promising young strikers in the League, he made his debut during the 2005/2006 season for Politehnica Timişoara against FC Argeş Piteşti and scored on his second match, against Farul Constanţa.In a friendly match against ACF Fiorentina, he impressed the opposition's manager Cesare Prandelli, who described him as an exceptional player.
On January 15, 2008, Torje signed a five year contract with league champions FC Dinamo Bucureşti. The reported transfer fee is $2 million, thus becoming the most expensive transfer between two Romanian teams.
Torje is well known in the simulation management game Football Manager 2008 where is is touted as a good, young prospect.
Torje is a Romanian U21 international.
