CFR Timişoara is a Romanian football team from Timişoara, Timiş County founded in 1933. They are now playing in Liga II.
The team's best season was 1947-1948, when they finished second in the Romanian First League and reached the Romanian Cup final. However, they lost the latter against ITA Arad, 2-3.
