Franco Andrés Miranda (born May 13, 1985) is a footballer from Argentina who is currently playing for St. Mirren in the Scottish Premier League. He signed for the club in August 2007, leaving Argentinian club CAI. He has also represented giants River Plate. Miranda is a full back playing on the left wing. On June 19, 2007, it was announced that his contract with Helsingborg would expire on July 1.
In the 2007/2008 close season, he has been training with Scottish Premier League team St. Mirren, and has agreed a one year deal with them. On August 10, 2007 St Mirren received international clearance to finalise the deal to bring Franco Miranda to St. Mirren Park[1]. Miranda scored on his debut against Inverness Caledonian Thistle - the opening goal of a 2-1 win.
