[edit] Early career

Dargo began his career with Kirkcaldy side Raith Rovers. He scored 29 goals in 82 league games before moving to Kilmarnock on a free transfer in July 2000. He remained at Rugby Park for the next five years. During this time he made appearances in the UEFA Cup when Killie played Norwegian side Viking Stavanger. However, his time at Kilmarnock was dogged by injuries, although he did manage to make 72 full appearances and 41 sub appearances, during which he scored 22 goals.

[edit] Inverness

In June 2005 Dargo signed for Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Although he at first struggled in front of goal, he broke his scoring duck during a game against Rangers at Ibrox Stadium and has gone on to score in several games since, with the departure of player manager Craig Brewster leaving him the club's top scorer of season 2005/06.

At the end of season 2006/07 he announced he would leave Inverness on a free transfer, despite them offering him a record deal in terms of wages.

[edit] St. Mirren

On the 28th of June 2007, he signed for St. Mirren[1].

Dargo aggravated his occurring knee injury which kept him out.

Dargo finally made his his St. Mirren debut against former club Kilmarnock on December 22nd 2007. Dargo scored his long awaited first St. Mirren goal against Grenta to officially relegate them on the 29th March 2008.
