The Municipal District of Foothills No. 31 is a municipal district in southern Alberta, Canada adjacent to the south side of Calgary in Census Division No. 6. It is not part of the Calgary Census Metropolitan Area (CMA).

According to the Canada 2001 Census:[3]

- Area (km².): 3,668.30
- Density (persons per km².): 4.6 (2001)
In 2006, Foothills No. 31 had a population of 19,736 living in 7,460 dwellings, an 18.9% increase from 2001. The municipal district has a land area of 3,643.60 km² (1,406.8 sq mi) and a population density of 5.4/km² (14/sq mi).[2]
