Birch Hills County is a municipal district in north-western Alberta, Canada. It is located in Census Division 19, north-east of Grande Prairie.

In 2001, the municipal district has a population of 1,644 in 636 dwellings, a 2.3% decrease from 1996. On a surface of 2,856 km² it has a density of 0.6 inhabitants/km².[2]
In 2006, Birch Hills County had a population of 1,470 living in 573 dwellings, a 10.6% decrease from 2001. The municipal district has a land area of 2,856.69 km² (1,103 sq mi) and a population density of 0.5/km² (1.3/sq mi).[1]
