Federico Julián Fazio (born 17 March 1987 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a Argentine football player who currently plays for Sevilla FC of the Spanish La Liga. His usual position is central defender. Having started his career with Ferro Carril Oeste, he was bought by Sevilla FC in January 2007, having spent the vast majority of the remaining season with the second team, Sevilla Atlético. He served time in both sides in 2007-08. He is best known for his aerial ability and his no-nonsense attitude whilst defending.
Fazio was an integral part of the Argentina U-20 side that won the World Cup of the category in 2007.
He scored his first goal for Sevilla FC in a 3-0 win at Racing Santander on the 7th of May 2008 in the 29th minute. He also scored the 2nd goal in that match in the 65th minute.
