The East African cricket team was a cricket team representing Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Their first game was against a South African Non-European team in 1958. East Africa appeared in the 1975 World Cup and the 1979, 1982 and 1986 ICC Trophies; in the last two of these the Kenyan cricket team was also represented, so that East Africa was effectively a Tanzanian/Ugandan team.

East Africa was an Associate Member of the ICC from 1966 to 1989, after which its place was taken by East and Central Africa.
